STUDIES ON EFFECTIVENESS OF JAPANESE B ENCEPHALITIS VACCINATION

Lee, Martin Hodges
Abstract
Two hundred and nine American ¢¥Peace Corps Volun-
teers were divided into two Groups. All of them were
known to have been free from current or previous Ja-
panese B encephalitis infection. None of ahem had a
history of Japanese B encephalitis vaccination.
Group I included 106 members who had come to
before November 1, 1970. They had already
received two vaccinations for primary immunization in
July, 1970. Therefore they were given only one subcu-
taneous booster injection in July 1971.
